Painting and Printing

Been swapping fabric for paper recently and dusting off my textile design head (been in storage for a while!). Mulling over some new ideas for the autumn including this piece piece of work which is being reworked on lutradur. Results to follow…

Lovely design, you must dust off that creative head more often. What about getting it printed up into fabric?? Not sure how much it costs but there are now companies that will do it. Just think a range of fabric exclusively available at QP.
Just seen Sue Dawson at Ouse Valley quilters and she has made some amazing quilts based on the road surface and yellow lines – with a husband that works on the roads we finally have a cross over in our work!

Ah, thanks. Trying to work it into stitch at mo, but open to printing.
Sue did same c&g as me but started a year or two later. Lovely lovely work – like the way they show there is inspiration to be found everywhere.
