Oh, I do like to be beside the sea!
Sometimes I feel lucky to live in Brighton, and be able to pop down to the beach, but as always the grass is always greener… I would love a soft sandy beach, and not one with pebbles!
Maybe beacuse of the QP location, or maybe just because it is a lovely theme, I always try and look out for some beach themed fabrics.
This summer we have fabrics at £10.60 per metre, all available via our website...
The top one features beach themed motifs – lighthouses, shells etc. The second one features
planks (wish I could think of a better word for it!) pier decking (thanks Hadley!) and the one at the bottom is beach huts.
This lovely little houses fabric reminds me of the view of Brighton, seen from Stanford Road.
…and this beach hut cushion pattern is designed by Sara Cook, and uses the foundation piecing method. It is £5.50 for the pattern, available on our website here.
