Festival of Quilts 2011 – In the Spotlight

There is something fun about going to foq and seeing one of your quilts there – it makes you feel part of the event.  This year I was lucky enough to be asked to contribute a piece of work to the bi-yearly Quilter’s Guild In the Spotlight gallery.  The brief was “Romance of Words”, 200 years since the publication of Sense and Sensibility; interpret as you wish.  Being a Jane Austen fan it was a good brief to work to.

The group of quilts are touring as part of the Creative Stitches/ICHF exhibitions from September till June 2012 so you may see it there.

Love your quilt. It must have been a very proud moment to see it hanging there.
