The Quilters Guild of the British Isles is a finalist in the national lottery good causes competition and needs your vote (and your friends, neighbours, the guy you sit opposite on the train on your way to work…). If you haven’t heard of the guild it is charity set up 32 years ago to raise awareness of quiltmaking in the UK, educate people about quilt making and also help preserve it’s heritage. It has just under 7000 members, and opened the National Quilt Museum 2 years ago.
It takes just a minute to vote – go on! http://www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards/best-heritage-project/136/
