Central Park – Jelly Roll Part 1

Log cabin with a jelly roll is so much fun – and so quick.

Here are the results of an afternoon.  I will write it up more thoroughly when it is finished, but it is log cabin and an extra strip, with the animal jelly roll strips used to sash the rows together.  I’ve now got to get to work on the border/s.

and a close up

Don’t you just love those fabrics!

On a slightly different feel we have had the Charlevoix range by Minick and Simpson in this week.  They have a lovely country feel and make me long for sunny Spring days when the windows have been flung open and the smell of fresh washing is in the house…!  We also had some chunky cotton ric rac delivered, and the cream looked lovely with these bolts.  All will be in the online shop next week.

There is a blog birthday going on this weekend – visit http://verykerryberry.blogspot.com/ for more details – you may win one of our Sugar Pop charm packs!
