Ouse Valley Quilters Exhibition

This weekend it is the exhibition of Ouse Valley Quilters, based in Lewes.  The group has been running for quite a while, and they have an exhibition every two years.  At their last show I can still remember a quilt someone had made for their adult son using his old Scout badges since then I have kept my sons Beavers badges to embarass give him in the same way.  They also have a chshion tombola at which we were very successful last time which each child winning one (phew).  There are also refrshments and traders.  We have some raffle tickets in the shop which are £1 each.  All proceeds to to Chestnut Tree Hospice for children – a local very worthwhile cause.  If you are passing the shop before Friday afternoon pop in and buy one, who knows you may win this…

PS, There are some fab pictures of the Amy Butler stand on this blog post.  The stack of Gumdrop cushions is tdf!  http://patchworkpalace.wordpress.com/2010/08/23/amy-butler-love-kaffe-fassett-gorgeousness/
